The Wild Boar is an animal that can be tamed and kept as a barn animal and ridden as a mount.

Wild Boars are a type of tameable animal found in the 
Forest.
Wild Boars can be ridden after reaching 3 hearts of friendship.
Tamed Wild Boars can be sheared for 
Boar Fur using the 
Blade Shears.
Like all other tameable animals kept in the Animal Sheds, the quality of the fur they produce, time it takes for their fur to regrow after being sheared, and overall speed as a mount can be improved upon by breeding.

Wild Boars can be found and tamed in the Forest year-round, both young and adult require 2 days of attuning with the 
Flute.
Conditions for Rare animal spawns[]
- Have tamed at least 4 different variants of the animal
- Have tamed at least 8 animals of that kind, regardless of variants
Conditions for Legendary animal spawns[]
- Have tamed at least 6 different variants of the animal
- Have tamed at least 12 animals of that kind, regardless of variants
