The Ostrich is an animal that can be tamed and kept as a barn animal and ridden as a mount.

Ostriches are a type of tameable animal found in the 
Savanna.
Ostriches can be ridden after reaching 3 hearts of friendship.
Tamed female ostriches can drop 
Ostrich Egg, and tamed male ostriches can drop 
Ostrich Feather in the Animal Shed.
Like all other tameable animals kept in the Animal Sheds, the quality of the eggs or feathers they produce, time it takes for their eggs or feathers to drop, and overall speed as a mount can be improved upon by breeding.
Acquisition[]
Ostriches can be found and tamed in the Savanna year-round, and require 3 days of attuning with the 
Flute, or 2-3 days if it's a young ostrich.
Conditions for Rare animal spawns[]
- Have tamed at least 4 different variants of the animal
- Have tamed at least 8 animals of that kind, regardless of variants
Conditions for Legendary animal spawns[]
- Have tamed at least 6 different variants of the animal
- Have tamed at least 12 animals of that kind, regardless of variants
