Fishing

In Roots of Pacha, you can fish the shallow and deep waters to see what lies in their depths.

Increased knowledge level of a type of fish and better tools gives you a smaller catching bar.

Fishing Tools

Difficulty is equal to the number of segments on the bar (as well as affecting how quickly the fish moves and how often you have to back off). Difficulty is reduced by 1 at knowledge level 3 and reduced by 2 at knowledge level 5, but cannot be below 2 (so, for example, with knowledge 3 and a harpoon, both Tier 1 and Tier 2 fish have 2 bar segments).

For each attempt, whether you catch a fish or not, some energy is consumed: 5 energy points for the handaxe, 3 energy points for the harpoon.

Fish rarity bonuses scale the chance from Min (0 rarity bonus) to Max (30 rarity bonus).

Cave Fishing

East of Pacha's Pair of Rocks in the Caves, there's a fishing spot. The fish here are taken from another fishing spot, depending on the day of the week:
